The good Striper and Bluecat fishing continues on Keystone. Water quality is still excellent on both river arms this Fall. We got it on with the early bite again then moved up the river a ways to try for more and bigger fish. It worked and we filled a couple of gallon bags with fillets.

 

I had the pleasure of getting out with two of my earliest clients. they have been fishing with me for years and I always enjoy my time with them. We had a tough time finding active feeders but when we did it was Game On!!    

 

The Striper bite was on very early in the morning. the fish were up to four pounds and very aggressive. We got some blues on the jugs again but the highlight was the three bigger Stripers drifting live bait on some shallow humps.

Saturday was the September “Party Boat” trip. The day started off slow and we really had to move around a lot to find the fish. We kept moving and finally found them in 28 Ft. of water. We left them biting when it was time to call it a day.
